Concerns about the supply for the South

The input parameters showed that total crude capacity of the national electricity is at a reasonable rate from 27-33%, however, the reservation ratio is the South is very low which is 0% from 2016-2017 and 1,4-7,2% from 2018 to 2020.
Hours of operation of the thermal power plant in the Southern is at high need for the periods 2015-2020 and 1500-2000 MW additional power is needed to supplement.
The adjustment of power plan
At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai agreed on the major issues of policy review and evaluation on rebalancing the national electricity system, as well as the proposed adjustment of Electricity Planning VII. Head of the National Steering Committee on Electricity Planning VII was required to submit the list of projects approved in the Master Plan, as a basis for a detailed list of the power schedule to operate in 2025.
Deputy Prime Minister noted the importance to build carefully and specifically from the demand, production, capacity and operational risks, figure out the basis of investment decisions and the treatment plan to calculate the appropriate transmission.
Deputy Prime Minister also commented on a number of large projects, net projects, the supply of gas, with coal for power projects to ensure harmony with the content being discussed.
