                      Myanmar - Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Association visited Pacific Corporation

Joining the meeting were: Myanmar - Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Association consists of 12 members led by Mr. Nay Win Tun - Myanmar MP, Vietnam - Myanmar Parliamentary Friendship Association led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Tien - Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of Parliament; representatives of Corporation Pacific Corporation.

At the meeting, Mr. Phan Van - MP, Member of Vietnam - Myanmar Parliamentary Friendship Association, Chairman of Pacific Corporation introduced an overview of the company and the company’s projects. Mr. Nay Win Tun - Chairman of Myanmar - Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Association also introduced preliminary about the country and people of Myanmar, system policies and laws of Myanmar as well as the investment opportunities in Myanmar.

On this date, Pacific Corporation and Ruby Dragon Companies signed a Cooperation Agreement in the presence of the Chairman of Vietnam - Myanmar Parliamentary Friendship Association and members of Myanmar - Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Association. Ruby Dragon Companies is a company established under Myanmar laws. Mr. Nay Win Tun - Chairman of Myanmar - Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Association, Chairman of Ruby Dragon Companies signed the Agreement with Pacific Corporation. 

Under the Agreement, Pacific Corporation and Ruby Dragon Companies will cooperate to invest in a number of areas in Myanmar as: power plant projects; capital arrangement and EPC for the power plant projects, agriculture, processing of agricultural products, industrial development and mining, mineral processing. The Parties agreed to cooperate on development perspectives, equality, mutual benefit and subject to the provisions of the laws of Vietnam, Myanmar, other relevant legislation and in accordance with international practice.

At the end of the meeting, on behalf of Pacific Corporation, Mr. Phan Van Quy thanked Myanmar - Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Association has visited and worked with the company, and thanked the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Vietnam and Vietnam - Myanmar Parliamentary Friendship Association for the support to the company and the Ruby Dragon Companies to meet and cooperate with each other. The parties hope the Cooperation Agreement between Pacific Corporation and Ruby Dragon Companies will open up new opportunities to enhance the friendship between the two countries Vietnam - Myanmar. / .
