To encourage businesses to invest in Myanmar
Meeting with the Minister of Industry in Myanmar U Maung Myint on 13th May, the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung affirmed that Vietnamese Government will facilitate and encourage Vietnamese enterprises (companies) to invest in Myanmar.
The Prime Minister proposed that the two countries need to boost 12 areas such as fisheries , oil and gas , telecommunications , aviation , energy ...
The Prime Minister also asked the Minister U. Maung Myint to coordinate with Vietnam Minister of Industry and Trade to discuss on specific measures to create favorable conditions for Vietnam enterprises to invest in Myanmar including the license to open banks in Myanmar.
The Minister U Maung Myint affirmed that the Myanmar Government will create favorable conditions for Vietnam to invest in Myanmar and Ministry of Industry in Myanmar will closely monitor the procedures to ensure the successful investment.
