Pacific Corporation participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Urban West Lake Center
The Urban West Lake Center with a total area of 207.6 hectares, including 89 hectares for roads, promenade, parks, trees, lakes. More than 25 hectares of open space are for the public service activities in Hanoi City and the headquarters of Government departments will be relocated here. The area consists of 46 hectares for commercial buildings, financial centers, offices. The area of 26 hectares are planned for condominiums, villas, houses with a population of about 25,000 people.

Scale project is estimated with the total investment of USD 2.5 billion. Capital project is invested by Daewoo E & C Group - a world-class corporation and the Korea Development Bank (KDB) – Korea’s top financial state corporation.
The ground breaking ceremony is one of the important events in the sequence of major socio-economic events celebrating 20 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea which receive special attention from the two governments.

At the ground breaking ceremony, the investors also officially announced the project's brand as STARLAKE. According to Mr. Lee Kwon Sang, CEO of THT Development Co., STARLAKE include the word STAR - a symbol of expectation model of an urban area, such as bright stars, combined with the word LAKE - object representing the West Lake, the environment-friendly living close to nature. A twinkling star in the sky of Hanoi in West Lake represents the image of a modern urban class. Leading color of brand STARLAKE is orange, symbolizing the colors of the stars in the flag of Vietnam; combined with purple represents the luxury, exquisite sunset image as West Lake, feeling of warmth and prosperity.

The project has a prime location in the western area of Hanoi, connecting with key projects of the city such as Nhat Tan Bridge – Noi Bai International Airport, T2 terminal project, Ring road 1 project 1, Ring road 2, Ring road 3….
