Opening ceremony of 02 projects and start construction of 01 project were financed by Thai Binh Duong Group in Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province.

Attended members are Mr. Thai Van Hang – Vice Chairman of Nghe An PPC, the leaders of Yen Thanh district, Nhan Thanh commune, Nghe An province; Lieutenant General Pham Tuan – Armes Forces Hero, former General Director of Department of Defense Industry; Major General Vo So – Chairman of national liaison committee of Truong Son soldiers; Major General Hoang Anh Tuan – former Political Commissar of Department of Technology, vice chairman of national liaison committee of Truong Son soldiers; Pacific Corp., management board and all local residents.

In addition to the funding from the National Target Program and the local budget, Pacific Corp., funded 4.7 billion VND to build Nhan Thanh commune water plant. Plant capacity is1500 m³ per day and night, this capacity is sufficient for the demand of 10.000 people. In the past, the local residents often used rain water for drinking and water from Nong Giang (water river flowing from the mountain) for domestic consumption. The consumption water is polluted therefore many people have been suffering from diseases such as dermatitis, cancer …

The water plant which was built with the sponsorship of Pacific Corp., met the clean water demands of the local residents as well as the conditions of sanitation and health for the daily life. Currently, the plant was completed and run into operation. With 1700 households installed water meters, Nhan Thanh commune has obtained the standard of clean water and environmental sanitation. On this occasion, Pacific Corp., had additional financial support of 1.7 billion VND, upgrading the total funding up to 4.7 billion.

Den Ca in Nhan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Information and Communications as the National Historic Heritage. As time goes by, some parts have deteriorated seriously which need to be renovated and restored. Due to this fact, Pacific Corp., funded 2.2 billion VND to develop design plant and implement the restoration work.

With the funding from Pacific Corp.,, the restoration work was completed the 1^st phase and put into operation against degradation in order to better serve the needs of beliefs and create conditions for local people to open the festival, promoting the humane tradition and local culture. Mr. Duong Trung Quoc - General Secretary of Vietnam's history science association gave to Den Ca an ancient incense burner on the occasion of this event celebration.

On the same day, Pacific Corp., and the Central Calamities Fund celebrated the start construction of a health center – community flood prevention home in the south of Yen Thanh district.

This event also marked the ninth projects funded by Pacific Corp., in Yen Thanh district with the total aid from 2005 to present of nearly 12 billion VND. It can be said that the contributions and fund of Pacific Corp., have helped Yen Thanh district with some practical economic - social issues and have brought new changes into the local people life. On this occasion, Pacific Corp., and Board Chairman Phan Van Quy received certificate of merit from Nghe An PPC for their contributions to the locality.

One day before, on 24^th December 2010,  Nhan Thanh Commune People Committee held a cultural festival between Nhan Thanh commune, Thai Binh Duong Group with the participation of Nghe An dance theatre group.
