Union and staffs gave flowers to Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Phan Van Quy – Chairman
On this occasion, some partners visited, sent flowers and congratulated to Mr. Phan Van Quy.

At the end of 1971, Mr. Phan Van Quy joined army and was assigned to drive on the legendary Truong Son road. Many times, he and his comrades had to face the fierce and dangerous to bring soldiers and cargos safely to gathering point. Over 3 years in the battle field, he was awarded many prizes such as: Achievement Medal, the Medal of Liberation Soldier, the Medal of glorious soldiers, the Medal of American War and the Medal of military win flag. In 1976, the President awarded him the title of Hero of People’s Armed Forces while he was 23 years old. At that time, he was the youngest hero of Truong Son Soldier – Ho Chi Minh Road that was awarded this title. The truck Zil 157 which he drove before is currently being exhibited at the Museum of the Military Logistics.
