Cooperation to develop wind power in Binh Thuan Province

Implementing the State policy in developing clean and renewable energy, PACIFIC surveyed, proposed and was approved by Binh Thuan Province’s People’s Committee to study for investment in constructing Thai Hoa wind power plant and Thai Phong wind power plant project in Binh Thuan province.
MAINSTREAM is an independent power developer, established according to the laws of Ireland, has capacity and experience in investment in developing renewable energy project globally. Till now, MAINSTREAM has produced 10.000MW of renewable energy; therein nearly 700MW has been built and operated. MAINSTREAM cooperated with some governments such as South Africa to develop renewable energy project in form of IPP. Besides, MAINSTREAM also extended cooperation relationship with other partners to support the successful transfer of the project into operation in a safety and timely manner.
According to the signed MOU, PACIFIC and MAINSTREAM agreed about the principal of cooperation in developing Thai Hoa and Thai Phong wind power plant project accordance with the provisions of the current law of Vietnam. MAINSTREAM will consult and support for the Project Company in technical issues of the Project, try to achieve the target of building and managing an independent power plant that uses wind energy to generate electricity, adds to national electrical grid.
