Congratulations to Lieutenant General Pham Tuan on the 40 years anniversary of victory "Hanoi -Dien Bien Phu in the air"
40 years ago on the morning 27th July 1972, the enemy assigned 100 aircrafts split into thre eviolently bombinginner area and suburban of Hanoi.
At 22.20 hours on 27th December, pilot Pham Tuan flew MIG-21 jet fighter from Yen Bai airport, with the command from headquarter and radar navigation, the jet fighter flew towards B52 aircraft at Moc Chau- Son La area to attack them with 2 rockets. The second B52 in three B52 aircrafts of the enemy was on fire. This is the first B52 shotdown by air force soldier in this campaign.
With thetremendous contributions in the fight and later contributions, Lieutenant General Pham Tuan has been awarded the title of Hero of the Vietnam People's Armed Forces, Hero of Labor of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh Order, Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of Lenin.
