Celebration of the Corporation’s 13rd anniversary of the Establishment

Among our main business and investment domains, which including Industry, EPC, Real Estate, industrial investments currently accounts for the highest proportion of the Company as this is the area in which the country requires. Recently, major investment projects by Pacific Corporation include: Vinh Tan 3 thermal power plant project, LNG Son My thermal power plant project, Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant project, Urban West Lake Center project etc. All listed out projects have the contribution and partnership of well-known worldwide group/corporation such as: One Energy Group (Hong Kong), GDF Suez Corp (EU),Mitsubishi Corp. (Japan), Sojitz Corp. (Japan), Doosan Heavy Industry Group and Daewoo Group (South Korea)

In addition to business activities, Pacific Corporation also greatly values our social and charity activities. The Company has sponsored for more than 90 organizations and units with the amount of nearly 40 billion VND for activities related to employment, social security, education and training, hunger eradication and poverty alleviation, people with meritorious services to the revolution etc.

Some highlight activities include:

-       Sponsored 2,5 billion Vietnamese dong for the construction of Yen Thanh Secondary school of Industrial and Agricultural Technician and established 2 “Pacific professions scholarship” funds at Yen Thanh Secondary school of Industrial and Agricultural Technology and Northern Nghe An Secondary school of Technician

-       Sponsored 2 billion Vietnamese dong for the construction of Northern Yen Thanh’s Medical station and  Flood prevention community house at Quynh Ba, Quynh Luu

-       Sponsored nearly 7 billion Vietnamese dong for the construction of Nhan Thanh water company and the maintenance work of National historic … at Nhan Thanh, Yen Thanh

-       Funded 2 billion Vietnamese dong in 5 year consecutively for various programs in training and education, hunger eradication and poverty alleviation, people with meritorious services to the revolution etc.

Especially, Pacific Corporation is the unit that bring up the idea and along with other founders to establish Nghe An Benevolent Foundation for the Gifted, donated 5 billion Vietnamese dong for the operation of the Foundation, awarded organizations and individuals that highly contribute to Nghe An province.

In addition to our charity activities and programs, Pacific Corporation is also the founders of other social and charity funds and foundations such as: Central Vietnam disaster prevention support fund, Nghe An Benevolent Foundation for the Gifted, Vietnam Martyrs' Families Support Association. Chairman Phan Van Quy is currently Vice president of Central Vietnam disaster prevention support fund and Nghe An Benevolent Foundation for the Gifted.

Nghe An Benevolent Foundation for the Gifted, after 1 year of operating, have held the 1^st award ceremony to honor groups and individuals that have positive contributions to Nghe An homeland. The Foundation, in collaboration with Nghe An Television, to held Nghe An Benevolent for the Gifted - a television program to provide an information bridge, a channel to honor the positive contributions of groups and individuals to the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho.

Pacific Corporation is the founder of Central Vietnam disaster prevention support fund and Nghe An Benevolent Foundation for the Gifted

With the Central Vietnam disaster prevention support fund in particular, after 5 years operation, the fund have raised hundreds of billion VND, constructed over 70 flood prevention constructions, hundreds hecta of protected forest, provided disaster prevention training programs to dozens of shock-troops in 14 coastal provinces.

Over the years, Pacific Corporation has provided support to organizations, families and individuals that highly contributed to the country such as Vietnam Martyrs' Families Support Association, especially to Truong Son soldiers since Mr. Phan Van Quy was also a Truong Son soldier. 

In parallel to business and investment, social and charity activities, on the position of the National Assembly deputy of Nghe An province, Chairman Phan Van Quy also spends a lot of effort to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Nghe An’s Deputy

By practical activities, from listening to voters, Deputy Phan Van Quy has made numbers of positive contributions in National Assembly forum as well as press media to comment on Labor Code (amended), Law on Procurement (amended), sea economic program etc. Currently, he also coordinated with Vietnam Investment Review to organize open talk, forum for opinions on Law on Enterprise (amended) etc.
