The delegation offered flowers before the statue of President Ho Chi Minh

To work with the delegation, there were: Mr Nguyen Duc Hien - Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Petitions Committee of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Representing Nghe An province, there were: Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi, QK4 Deputy Commander, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son - Commissioner of Provincial Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Council; Mr. Le Xuan Dai - Commissioner of Provincial Committee, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee; Mr. Pham Van Tan - Head of delegation of the National Assembly of Nghe An.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation of the National Assembly Region 9 Xieng Khoang province in Laos and the delegation of National Assembly in Nghe An offered flowers before the statue of President Ho Chi Minh. Presentation of fresh flowers before President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation of the National Assembly Region 9 Xieng Khoang expressed their respect to the devotion of the President for the international communist movement. President Ho Chi Minh was sacrificed his life striving for the liberation of the people of Vietnam and world peace. The President founded the Indochinese Communist Party, the forerunner of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the People's Revolutionary Party of Laos .

The scene of the visit

At the meeting the two sides held an experience exchange between Xieng Khoang delegation and Nghe An delegation. Exchange activities include voters meeting, the active contributions of the National Assembly in Nghe An province regarding legal, external affairs in the National Assembly session. Also Nghe An province delegation also provides some information regarding the current situation of socio-economic development of the province recently

At the seminar, the delegations agreed to continue implementing the signed content between Borders delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the delegation of the Laos which was signed in 2013 in Hanoi; strengthening comprehensive cooperation including defense and security; strengthening commercial development, exchange of goods, tourism; considering the open water at Huổi Feng, Tham Khop, Ai Khe in Nghe An province and Xam Che, Loong Ho, Muong Noc in Xieng Khoang province. Two provinces committed to promote the implementation of projects in Nghe An province to support Xieng Khoang province to be completed on time. In addition, the provinces committed to train the development of education and human resources for Laos. Specifically, the academic year 2014 - 2015, Nghe An province will receive 20 people from Xieng Khoang province (5 officers, 15 students graduated high school) to study Vietnamese in Teacher Training College in Nghe An for 10 months. The 16 students who completed the Vietnamese program, if eligible, will be selected to study at universities in the province of Nghe An.

Mr. Bun Phieng Mun, on behalf of the delegation, notified some political situation, social economic in Xieng Khoang province, as well as some activities in National Assembly Delegation Region 9. He acknowledged the special friendship between the two provinces of Nghe An - Xieng Khoang in particular as well as between two people of Vietnam - Laos general.

End of the discussion, two delegations were awarded for each other souvenirs. On this occasion, Heroic armed forces Phan Van Quy - Chairman of Pacific Corporation, National Assembly Deputy in Nghe An also awarded gifts to National Assembly Delegation Region 9 to express the gratitude as a soldier who fought on battlefields in Laos.
